Our intention was to keep track of some important developments in Trinidad and Tobago. However, it soon became apparent that visitors to the blog wanted more than that.
And so we decided to do the best from our base in Toronto, Canada to report the top news stories from Trinidad and Tobago relying on trusted media sources and our own original sources.
Soon we were not only reporting the day's news, we were also breaking news and our commentaries and analyses of political affairs were getting popular with our readers across the globe.
We were the first on the Internet to boldly predict that Prime Minister Patrick Manning would dissolve Parliament and announce an early general election in 2010. And there were many others.
Today, Feb. 7, 2011 marks an important milestone: we published our 5,000th story this morning. We hope to continue and expand our non-profit media project in the months and years ahead and look forward to your continued support.
