1990 coup probe to begin January 24 at CCJ courtroom

The Commission of Inquiry into the 1990 attempted coup in Trinidad and Tobago set up last year by the government will begin its public hearings on January 4, 2011.

The hearings will be held in Courtroom 2 of the Caribbean Court of Justice at 134 Henry Street, Port-of-Spain.

The phase of the hearing will run from Monday, January 24th to Friday February 4th 2011 with the formal opening at 9:30 a.m. on the 24th.

The proceedings will be transmitted live on Channel 4.
