Commonwealth conference to focus on Investment in TT

The Trinidad and Tobago delegation in London, England is on Thursday making a major investment pitch to Commonwealth business executives.
 
A special session titled "Investment Opportunities in Trinidad and Tobago" is listed for Thursday afternoon at the two-day Commonwealth Economic Partnerships Forum. 

Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Suruj Rambachan will chair the session, which will include Trade and Industry Minister Stephen Cadiz and Dr. Thackwray Driver, CEO of the Energy Chamber.
 
Earlier Thursday, Cadiz took part in a breakfast panel discussion on enhancing Commonwealth trade and global growth.
 
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar opened the Commonwealth conference Wednesday with a call for deepening economic ties among the 54-member Commonwealth.
