T&T Gov't grants 320 schols; Girls take the lead

The government of Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday released a list of 320 names of students who have won scholarships based on the results of the 2010 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE).

It shows that females students were way ahead of their male counterparts.

St Joseph's Convent, Port of Spain was at the top of the list with 35 scholarships,followed by Naparima Girls' High School (27) and St Augustine Girls' High School (26). Students from 37 schools will receive scholarships. St. Mary's College, all all boys school, got 13.

The President's Medals will be awarded to Jonelle Humphrey of Holy Faith Convent, Penal, and Brad Aadil Chattergoon of Presentation College, Chaguanas.
