Hats off to Jack Warner. He is a true example of dedication to representation.
Since being appointed Minister of Works, Warner can be seen every day working long hours to find solutions to the problems that are affecting the people - traffic congestion, poor drainage, flooding, dilapidated roads and public transportation.
While there are critics to his initiatives, Warner has chosen not to be daunted and not to sit idly by but to try which is a lot more than his predecessor.
Warner is promising to clean up corruption in his Ministry, especially the Licensing Division, and that will bring relief to everyone.
What is also refreshing is his interest in matters outside of the Ministry of Works, such as the issue of crime and capital punishment.
By taking up the issue of hangings, Warner has reassured the public that their plight and suffering has captured the attention of the government of which he is part and that he has taken the public concern to the Cabinet room.
He is also ensuring that the People's Partnership does not fall victim to complacency.
Keep it up Mr Warner. Do not be deterred. We need you to be our voice and we appreciate it.
