The Congress of the People (COP) is hosting a public meeting in Chaguanas on Sunday morning. COP leader and Minister of Finance will host the meeting at Centre Pointe Mall, beginning at 10 in the morning.
Planning Minister Mary King, economist Patrick Watson and People's Minister Dr Glen Ramadharsingh will also be present along with the Mayor of Chaguanas, Orlando Nagessar.
The meeting is one in a series to maintain contact with the people and hear their ideas on what are their priorities for the budget.
Dookeran has not yet set a date for the budget. It is generally presented in late September.
