Letter: Leave Jack and his boys alone! Follow his example

What is all the controversy surrounding Jack Warner’s breakfast outing with his two sons?

Why criticise him for informing the media about his whereabouts? It is proper protocol for the media to be invited to activities undertaken by any current PM and acting PM both past and present.

Why the issue now? The past PNM administration kept the media at an arm’s length and used them selectively.

Looking at Jack with his boys brought tears to my eyes as a mother because my children are all grown up and always say they are too busy to spend any time with me.

It breaks my heart. I wish my boys will see the example Jack showed even though he has a momentous task ahead of him, he is still a father that makes time for his children.

I urge all children especially grown ones, to look at the example Jack is setting, he is in the public’s eyes regularly whether national, regional or international, and most may bask in their public spotlight having all this attention showered on him but this man is humble and down to earth.
