The government of Trinidad and Tobago is reviewed the accounts of the controversial Urban Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT).
Planning Mary King told the Trinidad Express the process of just beginning and when it is over she will be in a much better position to say whether it is a viable option to have UDeCOTT continue.
"That will be the analysis at the end of the view. I would not want to make any premature statements," she told the paper.
UDeCOTT is one of several special purposes companies set up by the previous government. UDeCOTT's specialty is in project management and it was responsible for handling government contracts of billions of dollars.
UDeCOTT and its former executive director Calder Hart are the currently the subject of a police inquiry.
