Letter: Rowley's misplaced agenda

I am very disappointed in Dr. Keith Rowley.

I thought that as Opposition Leader one of his first acts would be to assist the Government in the inquiries into the Guanapo Church and to call for the extradition of Calder Hart.

Rowley would have scored political points if he had chosen to ride on the back of corruption. But he did not.

He wrongfully went after Jack Warner who the PNM fears could woo a lot of support to the Government and effectively derail the PNM as a party.

Rowley apparently became scared when he saw the rousing welcome that Warner received when he went to his Ministry for the first time. So he decides to destroy Warner's ambitions.

But it has worked against him, because Warner has seemingly become stronger and the people seem to support him. In the media the people have been writing and calling in support of Warner.

Rowley's plan has backfired and even PNM supporters feel that his agenda is misplaced.
