The group represents members of the Hindu Credit Union (HCU), which the government put into receivership and liquidation about two years ago.
That move has caused severe hardships for more than 100,000 HCU members who cannot access the tens of millions of dollars tied up in the organisation.
The Manning government has refused to intervene. The group and the opposition has accused the government of discrimination, pointing out that it provided a billion-dollar rescue package for the CL group while the HCU was begging for a fraction of that as a loan to refloat the credit union.

In a media release Friday the group said "there is the proverbial ‘snowball in hell’ chance of recovering their investments as long as the Manning regime is in power."
There is it urging members to vote for a new government on Monday.
"HCU Credit Union Members Group (CRMG) fully endorses Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar and the People’s Partnership. CRMG calls upon all HCU members, and their friends and relatives, and also CLICO customers, to vote for the People’s Partnership," the release said.
"HCU and CLICO members have no other choice but to support and vote for Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar and the People’s Partnership. CRMG exhorts you to do all you can to ensure that come May 25th there will be a People’s Partnership government that will do all it can to end this long nightmare for HCU members who comprise almost 10% of the electorate in Trinidad and Tobago.
"CRMG warns HCU and CLICO members and customers that this may be your last chance to help yourself - if you do not vote for a change in government then you may never ever recover any of your precious, hard-earned savings and deposit.
"Your future is in your hands, literally. CRMG urges you to make good use of this golden opportunity," the release stated.
