Seven new faces in PNM lineup for May 24 election

The People’s National Movement (PNM) has dropped seven of the 26 candidates who won seats in the last Parliament and added new people to represent the party in the May 24 general election

The party has dropped:

• Pennelope Beckles - Arima - (new) Laurel Lezama
• Roger Joseph - La Horquetta/Talparo - (new) Shivan Ojah-Maharaj
• Gary Hunte - Port of Spain North/St Ann’s West - (new) Patricia McIntosh
• Anthony Roberts - St Ann’s East - (new) Joanne Thomas
• Indra Sinanan Ojah-Maharaj - Toco/Sangre Grande - (new) Eric ’Pink Panther’ Taylor
• Rennie Dumas - Tobago East - (new) Gizel Thomas-Roberts
• Stanford Calender - Tobago West - (new) Terrence Williams
