However his Management Tips will remain a part of the morning show.
And Rambachan's highly rated devotional morning show from 4 to 6 in the morning will also continue to air on Sangeet.
Rambachan told the Trinidad Guardian his decision was "a matter of ethics" and that he will be focusing more on his role as the Leader of Opposition Business in the Senate and deputy political leader of the United National Congress (UNC).
"You always feel a sense of loss to leave something that you have helped conceptualise," the paper quoted Rambachan as saying.
The Guardian said Rambachan expressed gratitude to the head of the ANSA McAL media group, Grenfell Kissoon, for inviting him to join Sangeet 106.1FM and the network of radio stations that form the Trinidad Broadcasting Company (TBC).
"He had a lot of creativity when it comes to the media and a view to develop the programs in a way that the listeners would love...It was a tremendous experience and from time to time I would be on the programme as a guest, and not a host," he said.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Guardian Media Group, Gabriel Faria, is disappointed that Rambachan has left the "Morning Panchayat".
“We are sad that he has made the decision to give up his position as a host on the show but I respect his decision and we look forward to having him as a guest, when he can make himself available,” Faria told the Guardian.
