Today's photo story: Seniors on cleanup project

Basanti Sooklal, Cynthia Kissoon and Seeta Harrichand - all widows and senior citizens - have given up on complaining about the clogged and overgrown drains outside their homes. So they decided to do what the local government authorities have neglected to do.

Perhaps the elected representatives and officials could have a look at what's really going on at Cassava Street in Carapichaima, in Central Trinidad and do something about the problem there and in other areas that have similar problems.
