THE Barrackpore Sports and Cultural Committee hosted a gala welcome party
for the Trinidad and Tobago National Cricket team Thursday
to celebrate the team's successes
at the Airtel Champions League Twenty20 Competition in India
and the Presidents Cup in Guyana.
Captain Darren Ganga presented Chaguanas West MP Jack Warner
with a signature bat as a gift of "Thank You"
for Warner's intervention to get his employer, Petrotrin,
to approve leave for him to lead the team.
