Prime Minister Patrick Manning made the charge in Parliament when he went on the attack, accusing Rowley and Maharaj of ganging up together to try to topple the government.
He admitted that he and Maharaj had conspired to topple the Panday government in 2001 and called Maharaj a "destroyer of government", adding that now the former attorney general is teaming up with Ranjack.
Manning said he sees a "tag-team relationship between the member for Diego Martin West and the Member for Tabaquite...what you thought was RamJackG is now RamJackG and Rowley."

Calling Manning a desperate man, Maharaj said, "Do not be misled to be thinking we are in alliance with Mr Rowley. There is no political alliance between Mr Rowley and myself and with Mr Warner or Mr Winston "Gypsy" Peters."
He also dismissed Manning's remarks that the evidence by Carl Khan, the former husband of Sherrine Hart before the Commission of Enquiry was one of a jilted lover. Mrs Hart is now married to embattled UDeCOTT executive chairman Calder hart who is the central focus of the Uff commission of inquiry.
Maharaj called it Khan's submission "documented evidence" and added that a team of lawyers has been appointed to look at all the evidence which has been taken before the Commission of Enquiry, he said.
"They will be presenting to me in two weeks time a summary of the evidence to show which public official has committed corruption or misconduct in public office," he said.
Maharaj threatened to take the evidence to the Acting Director of Public Prosecutions and acting Commissioner of Police. He said if they don't lay charges he would get citizens to lay a private indictable complaint against public officials.
