Letter: No point in attacking Panday now

I am totally disgusted with the almost perfect correlation between the PNM being in trouble, attacks on Mr. Panday and announcements of findings of court proceedings.

The people want to know about the massive PNM corruption that is going on now with the dozens of megaprojects costing close to $40 billion, not about unproven allegations for the single mega project ever undertaken by the only alternative government to the PNM valued only at a little over $1 billion.

How predictable is this new attack on Mr. Panday at this point in PNM life? Do you think it comes as any surprise to anyone?

I don't know what are the PNM kickbacks for these attacks, but look at what is happening to the country.

Forget about Mr. Panday; he is a harmless old man who has devoted his life, giving up untold riches that some of his detractors revel in for the sake of equality for his people and by extension all of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.

Stop it now!
