Jackson's doctor could face manslaughter charge: Report

A report from California says Michael Jackson's doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, could face a criminal investigation for manslaughter.
e
Murray, who was born in Grenada and grew in San Juan, Trinidad, where he received his early education, was the last person to see Jackson alive.

The report says he is among five doctors, being investigated.

Murray lived at Jackson's rented Los Angeles home and was the only person who was present at the time of the singer's death.

Reports speculate that Murray might have given Propofol to Jackson before his death. Experts says the drug is typically only administered in hospitals. If doses are not monitored correctly, a patient could go into cardiac arrest.

Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and died on June 25, 2009.

Investigators have asked the manufacturers of the medication for information on a particular batch of the drug.

Murray's attorney insists his client has done nothing wrong in the Jackson case and in a statement he made it clear that Murray didn't "prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Michael Jackson."

Jackson's sister, LaToya Jackson, said over the weekend that a gang of conspirators killed her brother to get control of his fortune. She said he knows who they are and would do everything to bring them to justice.
